Qinty works within traditions that belong to this region and to the people who carry them. Describing those traditions accurately is their job, not ours, so this page holds the structure and waits for their words.

What we can say now is how the work is approached. Nobody is given anything without screening. Nobody is left alone. Nothing is presented as a cure.

If you are being treated for a physical or mental health condition, keep working with the people treating you. Tell us during screening. Some combinations are genuinely dangerous, and finding that out here would be the worst possible time.

Working with Rose and Sean was life-changing. They held sacred and safe space for me during my sessions and ceremonies. I was able to do years and years of therapy in one week being with them in Peru… integrating all that I learned with plant medicine, Reiki, meditation, and more. I love the progress I am making in my life because of them.

What a ceremony night looks like

  • Where

In the round ceremony house on the property, with the forest on every side.

  • Who is there

The guides who lead the night, support staff, and the other guests of your retreat.

  • How long

Several hours, usually starting after dark. You can lie down. You can leave the room.

  • Afterwards

The following day is protected. Nothing is scheduled against it.

Traditional ceremony is not medical or psychological treatment.

The practices

Qinty works with traditional Amazonian preparations. We are not listing them on this page yet, and that is deliberate. Each one needs three things first: a description written by the guides who actually work with it, a legal position confirmed by a lawyer in Peru, and contraindications written by a clinician.

Until that is done, what is offered on a given retreat is explained to you directly during your application, before you commit to anything and before you book a flight.
