What to pack
Bring less than you think.
It is hot, it is wet, and almost nothing you own is useful here.
Clothing
- Light long sleeves and long trousers for insects and sun
- A rain layer that packs small
- Shoes you can walk wet ground in
- Something warm for the night
- Sandals for around the buildings
Practical
- A head torch and spare batteries
- Insect repellent you already know suits your skin
- A refillable water bottle
- Any personal medication, in its original packaging, with a copy of the prescription
- A printed copy of your insurance and emergency contact
For yourself
- A notebook and a pen that works
- Less than you think you need
What we cannot tell you yet
Whether you need a towel, a mosquito net, a sleeping bag, a power adapter or a torch depends entirely on what the rooms already provide. Qinty has not confirmed that, so this list stays general rather than guessing.
